ABLOY EL561 DIN Electric Lock
The Abloy EL561 is a high-security, handle-controlled electric solenoid lock which integrates with access control systems, allowing both handles to be electrically managed. Upon door closure, the lock automatically projects a 20 mm deadbolt and secures the double-action latch, ensuring two-point locking. The EL561 is designed for medium-traffic wooden or metal doors and is non-handed, facilitating installation on left or right-handed doors.
It offers easily configurable fail-safe (fail-unlocked) or fail-secure (fail-locked) modes and operates on 12–24 V DC power. Compliant with BS EN 12209 standards it is suitable for applications in business premises, public buildings, hospitals, and educational facilities.
