The Autolock AV4 from Winkhaus is an automatic multi-point locking system which locks automatically when you pull the door closed, without the need to lift a handle or use a key. This model adds improvements such as being non handed and a new hook design with increased operational tolerances. Two solid anti-push back hooks automatically engage when the door is closed and then a central magnetic trigger activates to lock. However, if used with a lever handle on the exterior, the hooks will engage but the door will not be locked until a key is used to manually operate the deadbolt. The AV4 meets the requirements of PAS24 and is approved by the Police ‘Secured by Design’ security initiative.

Please note that the autoLock AV4 can be upgraded to a motorised door locking system by using a blueMatic EAV4 motor or blueMatic EAV4+ motor, which allow the locked door to be opened from the inside as usual using the door handle or cylinder and unlocked from the outside using all potential-free access control systems.
