ERA Vectis Hookbolt Centre Case And Slave Centre Case Keyed Alike

The ERA Vectis Lever Operated Slave Unit Split Spindle Centre Case has a 35mm backset with 95mm centres. It is a split spindle centre case with a 220mm case height and a 50mm case width.

This keyed alike ERA Vectis centre case set includes a 35mm backset hookbolt gearbox for the master door and a 35mm backset slave gearbox for the slave door, supplied complete with three mortice keys, eliminating the need for a Euro profile cylinder. Without a cylinder, the Vectis Plus is free from cylinder manipulation, breaking or snapping, and plug extraction. The slave unit is designed for use on the passive leaf of a pair of French doors, with security shootbolts securing the lock into the frame to provide optimum compression at the top and bottom of the door.

The lock also incorporates a split spindle function, allowing use with lever or lever and pad handle applications. The gearbox is secured on a 16mm face bar, making this lock an ideal choice for UPVC French door applications. It meets the requirements of BS EN 1670:2007 Grade 4 for corrosion resistance and is endurance tested to 50,000 cycles to ensure smooth and consistent performance over time.

These products comply with corrosion resistance to EN1670 Grade 4 (240 hours NSS).

Handing
The latch can be reversed by removing the screws in the latch, taking the latch out, flipping it to the opposite hand, and refitting the screw.

Operation
Locking Method – A: Lift the lever to engage the locking mechanisms, then turn the key one full turn to lock. To unlock, turn the key one full turn and push the lever down.
