BRITON 5720 DIN Standard Fire Rated Euro Profile Sashlock Case 60mm Backset

The Briton 5720 DIN Standard Euro Profile Sashlock Case is a heavy duty mortice sashlock suitable for lockable doors using lever furniture to withdraw the latchbolt. The deadbolt is operated by a euro profile cylinder, with one turn of the cylinder throwing the bolt 20mm for secure locking.

With a 60mm backset and 72mm centres, the Briton 5720 is in line with BS 8300 guidance and includes a quick reversible latch for flexible installation. The lockcase features bolt-through fixing holes to DIN 18251, a galvanised steel lockcase with satin nickel plating for corrosion resistance, and is available with a grade 316 stainless steel round or square forend. It is EN 1634-1 fire tested and suitable for use on FD30 and FD60 fire doors, to achieve the fire rating these digital locks must be fitted with the appropriate intumescent pack, if fitted to a fire door, a suitable door closer must also be installed.
