ASEC GU Copy Lever Operated Latch & Deadbolt Old Style Gearbox

The ASEC GU Copy Lever Operated Latch & Deadbolt Old Style Gearbox has a 30mm or 35mm backset with 92mm centres. It is a single spindle latch and deadbolt centre case with a 207mm case height, 45mm or 50mm case width, and a 16mm faceplate width.

This is an ASEC-branded replacement gearbox designed to suit old-style GU multipoint locks with lever-operated latch and deadbolt operation. It provides a direct retrofit option for repair jobs where the existing full-length strip remains serviceable.


Handing
Simply twist the latch to the correct handing before inserting it into the locking strip.

Operation
Locking Method – A: Lift the lever to engage the locking mechanisms, then turn the cylinder one full turn to lock. To unlock, turn the key one full turn and push the lever down.

Notes
The faceplate screw centres align with older GU multipoint lock strips.
