Deadlocking
Deadlocking nightlatches are sometimes called slam-locks as the latch is deadlocked when the door is shut and can only be accessed externally with a key. Don't forget to fit at least one British Standard BS 3621 compliant lock to all your external doors because if you don't, you risk invalidating your insurance policy.
