Non-Deadlocking

A non-deadlocking nightlatch holds the door shut with the latch on the close of the door. It does not deadlock the bolt automatically and as such, it is susceptible to lock slipping. If fitted to an external door, you should also make sure the door is fitted with a second lock that meets the British Standard BS 3621, a common requirement of most insurance policies.

Explore our wide range on non-deadlocking nightlatches from popular brands such as Union, Yale, Era and Asec.
