British Standard 1 Star
British Standard 1* cylinders offer a higher level of protection than 10, 6 and 5 Pin cylinders but aren't as secure as a British Standard 3* cylinder.
Although they have passed TS007 British Standard criteria but have not passed the new additional anti-snap text. However, if fitted with British Standard 2*security hardware (such as an armoured handle or cylinder guard), the entire unit is said to meet the full criteria set out in British Standard 3*, including anti-snap testing.
