10 Pin

Although not as secure as British Standard 1* or 3* cylinder, a 10 pin cylinder offers a higher level of security than a 6 or 5 pin. This is because a 10 pin cylinder is harder to pick (thanks to those extra pins!) and offers a higher number of differs (codes).

If you're looking for a cylinder for an external or "final exit" door, we recommend that you choose a British Standard 3* cylinder as this will have passed the require anti-snap testing.
